Description

Various Cactus and other plants inhabit the Carefree Desert Gardens in Arizona. Carefree is a small community located in the eastern Phoenix valley. This plant is a Boojum Tree. It looks like it's from another planet. The camera I used was a Nikon D7200 with a Tamron 10-24mm f/3.5-f/4.5 ultra-wide zoom. The zoom setting was set at its widest of 10mm to bring in the whole tree in the frame. I also used a polarizer to brighten the blue sky. The exposure was 1/320sec at f/11 with an ISO of 200.
